On 15th March 2011 R turned 17 months, going on 18 and since we were in my inlaws place then thought it would be easier to get his head shaved for the first time...so my brother in law and me took R in order to get his new hair do!!! At first he was quite OK since he is so fond of his kakan ir he didnt mind sitting on his lap and check out the salon articles....but as soon as the hair guy touched the instrument to his head all hell broke lose...R screamed and scratched his kakan and me...all i was trying to do was keeping his head steady...gosh that pleading and questioning look in his eyes i wont be able to forget anytime soon....
Anyways after the ordeal R recovered pretty well from the shock....phew!!!some choclate eclairs did the trick actually and of course our newest member of the family R's baby cousin! We were visiting our in laws to actually welcome her into the family..:))) Shes a doll with a mop of dark beautiful hair....After he lost his hair poor R kept checking his baby sisters beautiful hair and then cautiously would touch his bald head and look quite surprised...His kakan asked him jokingly
kakan: ei tor chul gulo kothay gache re?(hey where did you lose your hair?)
R: (while touching his head) ja ja tic tic...(that means the lizard has taken away)
All of us in the room couldn't help laughing ...my adorable bacha what he tried to tell us that day was the head shaving experience was as horrid as his feeling towards lizards!!!
