After good 18 months(since the baby's arrival) for the first time i went on a girl's day out...:)) Well ever since we shifted to this new place i have managed to make some friends....well friends enough to go shopping..and that IS a big deal for me coz i am a shop alone girl...i luvvv to shop and window shop on my own....It was M's idea to go shopping and S nd moi just hopped on it...Went for two hours, wound it up in five!!(so typical isnt it!!!)
in the beginning i had my doubts since my lil man was all very upset these days coz his dad has to be away most part of the week on business trips but S was really motivating ... Anyways the day was fab my lilypie actually enjoyed his day out especially coz both S and M's kids were around.......had his food without hassle, drank lots of water and even had his afternoon nap without a glitch(boy was i happy?:))) On our way out M
had to go to the parking which is the basement of this giant edifice and the plan was she would pick us up from the exit gate. Since we had the kids and our precious shopping bags it was only logical to do so... however M was not aware that there was another exit which lead on to a road which was just across the mall. Even if she wanted to call us there, there was no place to park....apparently the exit route was also not marked properly! So she again had to enter the mall picked us up from the exit and we double checked with an employee there whether we'd be charged again for parking which ideally they shud not coz we were entering the parking lot only to get out!!!He said that we wont be charged....we go in the parking and take the correct route to exit and
as we were about to pass the exit gate we were stopped and asked to pay for the "parking". We told them why we were there and the goof up...but they simply wouldn't listen...they wanted thirty bucks/hr for parking that never happened!!! We tried to explain but the person in charge was downright rude refused to listen to us at all and asked us to back up...we three girls were furious....brought on the girl power and told our driver not to budge from that place no matter what..in the mean time M's seven year old daughter said she was a bit scared in all the screaming and explaining but we told her that we were just standing up for our rights....that we are right and the man outside the window was wrong....we r not 'just' quarreling with a man. who .finally was forced to bring in the supervisor ...the supervisor seemed to be more educated and decent...patiently heard our side and let us go!!!!!As we drove past the exit gate we were happy...we stood for what was right and "THAT" was good fun!!!!!...
